What is Anukis Impact Project Makers?

Anukis Impact Project Makers is a hands-on program created by four 12th graders to help middle school students explore data science and apply their skills to small, socially meaningful projects. Inspired by Stanford AI4ALL, the program introduces students to real-world applications of technology and encourages them to bring their ideas to life and share their work. Anukis aims to support young learners in making a difference in their communities.

Analyzing Real-World Data

Anukis lets students use Data Science and AI skills to create projects that make a difference, applying tech to social issues around us.

Personalized Mentorship

Each student receives one-on-one guidance, ensuring tailored support and meaningful learning.

Beginner-Friendly Curriculum

Designed by experienced students, the curriculum focuses on essential, approachable topics in data science and AI, perfect for curious beginners.

Take a Sneak Peek at Our Curriculum

Data Processing

This is an excerpt from a Data Science practice notebook. Through extensive hands-on learning, students had the chance to work with real-world data.

Visualization

This histogram shows the distribution of countries by their social support index. Students also learned to extract valuable insights, like this one, by effectively analyzing and visualizing data using Python libraries such as Numpy and Pandas.

Machine Learning

We also introduced students to machine learning techniques, including neural networks, ensuring they understood the underlying mathematical concepts.

Bringing Ideas to Life: Tackling Challenges Together

Brainstorming Ideas

Check out what our offline session looked like! We booked a classroom at school on Sunday, brainstormed together, and shared social issues we each care about along with possible solutions.

School Tour

We also toured our school (Seoul Science High School), highly recommending it to those who love math and science!

Project Showcase

We also shared projects from our Data Science and AI classes: David presented his crowd movement simulation to prevent crush accidents, and Minjae discussed his kiosk-helper program for the elderly.
